90 degree line in the middle

Hi All!

I think there was an option to do this, but actually I can't find it
anywhere, including the user's manual.

What I need is to draw a little marker in 90 degree between 2 freely
specified points (using snap of course). I remember there was an option
to do so, and I could specify the length of the line (negative also),
then choose 2 points. (Or I was just dreaming.)

a-------------------b

Something like that. :-) I use this to position blocks and other
elements between 2 existing ones. The only option I can see, is actually
drawing a line from A to B and use snap to middle point. But this would
require drawing a lot of extra lines, especially because the lines I
draw are helper lines too. :-)

(So both ---- and | are helper lines, and position and distance of A and
B are completely "random", so I cannot use @30,0 etc.)

Any ideas will be welcomed!

Thanks,
Ferenc
