Hi,
I am a fairly new user myself but I have a solution. Since
architectural units in QCad are inches only I converted 5' 4 1/2" to
the number of inches only, ie either 64.5 or 64 1/2, no foot' or
inches " symbol. This works straight off. I am sure there is a better
way but for a quick solution this may be of help.
I am in Australia and we now use metric only, but I am old enough to
have learned in imperial (inches etc).
