Scott,I believe this problem is identical to Bug #779742 , and I will collapse these reports into one some time in the future. The problem originated from a TrueColor optimization that does not take into account the actual color mask ordering. A workaround is to change bytesize_ to bytesize_&&0 at line 1660 and 1706 of iv/src/IV-X11/xwindow.c. A fix is described under Bug #779742 (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=779742&group_id=275&atid=100275).
