ALERT - BREAKING MARKET NEWS R.E.P.O.R.T -- I N F X.P K
Company Name: I n f 1 n e x V e n t u r e s, I n c .
Lookup: INFX
Current Price: $.55
Expected: This one is going to grow at a r.a.p.1.d rate.
Infine x Ventur es,I n c (OTCBB: INF X) ("the Company") is pleased to
announce that it is in negotiations to acquire an interest in the Bolivar
Property located on Texada Island, British Columbia, Canada. The
Property consists of 23 adjacent mineral claims and 2 crown grants centered
approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west of the town of Vananda, B.C.
Previous drilling programs have outlined a significant resource with a high
concentration of gold. One diamond drill hole across the zone returned
a one-foot (0.3 m) intersection assaying 20.81 oz/ton Gold (714.3 g/t
Gold).
Trenching, diamond drilling and bulk test sampling of the Bolivar
deposit has revealed numerous spectacular "streaks and stringers" of free
gold in graphitic shear zones. As per Assessment Report 16757, a 1735
tonne bulk sample from the Bolivar pit returned a total of 1035.16 grams
of gold. Inflnex's pending acquisition of the Bolivar Property is a
strategic one that, along with the Company's interest in the Yew Property,
will provide it with control of a substantial portion of the mining
properties and reserves on Texada Island. Infinex intends to finalize this
acquisition by the end of September.

It will not build also for *current* sid on i386.For i386, it is sufficient to add into "Build-Depends" for pilot-qof "libqof-backend-qsf0".It should fix also kfreebsd-i386, but I cannot verify it right now.
Network got restored, so I can confirm, it fix also kfreebsd-i386. Petr

Hi.
For some reason, the kfreebsd build of pilot-qof 0.1.1-2 has brought in the wrong dependencies! It's read the dependencies for 0.1.1-1 inexperimental (where libqof-backend-qsf0 was only recommended) instead of 0.1.1-2 in unstable where it is a dependency. This has resulted ina failed build because the test suite cannot write data.
It will be related to #387196, as on kfreebsd-i386, it have been built against libqof-dev (0.7.1-3). It will not build also for *current* sid on i386. For i386, it is sufficient to add into "Build-Depends" for pilot-qof "libqof-backend-qsf0". It should fix also kfreebsd-i386, but I cannot verify it right now. Thanks for your care about kfreebsd-i386. Petr

a failed build because the test suite cannot write data. http://packages.debian.org/unstable/utils/pilot-qof Something is definitely wrong because the affected buildd log is filed under experimental: http://experimental.debian.net/fetch.php?&pkg=pilot-qof&ver=0.1.1-2&arch=kfreebsd-i386&stamp=1158924872&file=log&as=rawBasically, the config of the kfreebsd buildd must be wrong somewhere, it's building an unstable package in an experimental config! pilot-qof 0.1.1-2 shouldn't be anywhere near experimental. I think this must be
a result of the libpisock8 to libpisock9 transition.Could someone take a look for me (I'm not a DD, I'm in NM) and rebuild pilot-qof 0.1.1-2 with the correct dependencies?
Thanks. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.data-freedom.org/ http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/ http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/

- status mail to debian-devel-announce =======================================However if you have some ideas, we can prepare a mail.Well, "Bits from the Debian GNU/kFreeBSD porters" might contain something like bellow. Petr ******************************************************************** Hello, Debian world! This is a status update for the Debian GNU/FreeBSD port[1]. Compared to previous status mail [2], this port now consists of two architectures: kfreebsd-i386 and kfreebsd-amd64. Currently we focus mainly on kfreebsd-i386. Status ------ * We have uptodate toolchain and most of the core Debian packages are in good shape.Unfortunately this is not true anymore :( You have been faster than me to report a bug and send a patch to bug #385974. Thanks!
It should be fixed in just uploaded gcc-4.1/gcj-4.1 4.1.1ds1-14.
For libxul-dev, http://glibc-bsd.alioth.debian.org/patches/nsprpub.diff is a good stard.
xulrunner.diff is now available on alioth.BTW, how is http://glibc-bsd.alioth.debian.org/ synced vith web subdir in subversion ? It is rather outdated now.
Could be possible to upload xulrunner, kdebase and xorg-server into unreleased ?
Looks nice to me. What the other think?
No body object against ;-) So, please, send it. Petr

Maybe I was not clear enough on this. The original text was: * type of initrd used Some arches have already switched to using initramfs for d-i initrds, other arches are still using cramfs or ext2. Please check if a change could/should be made for your architecture. The default is: config/common:59:INITRD_FS = ext2 $ wcgrep INITRD_FS config/hppa <nothing> This means that all hppa d-i initrds currently use the default ext2 filesystem. The question was: should hppa be switched to using initramfs instead of ext2 for Debian Installer images? Whether this is possible depends amongst others on what the bootloaders used for different installation methods support. Note that using intramfs has some advantages as can be seen from these changelog entries from Joey for i386/amd64: * Remove root=/dev/ram from syslinux configs, turns out not to be needed for the kernel to find initramfs. * Remove ramdisk_size= and "rw" settings, also not needed. The same goes for other architectures: alpha: uses default ext2 arm/armeb: most subarches use cramfs ia64: uses cramfs m68k: uses default ext2 mips: uses cramfs mipsel: uses cramfs (except bcm947xx/netboot/firmware.cfg: jffs2) sparc: uses default ext2 i386, amd64, powerpc and s/390 already use initramfs as default.

(Reply-to set to debian-boot; please only add relevant port if needed.) Dear (d-i) porters, First mass upload of kernel udebs ================================= Today I have uploaded kernel udeb updates to 2.6.17-9 _for all arches_. This is the first time using the 'massbuild' [1] script I wrote recently. Effectively this means that d-i porters won't really have to worry anymore about updating kernel udebs after uploads by the kernel team. Only if the kernel major/minor changes will I request porters to do the upload themselves. For stable releases (including ABI changes) I intend to do these mass builds and do the uploads myself. Hopefully this will help the speed with which kernel udebs are updated and allow you all to spend more time testing d-i ;-) Of course porters are still responsible for maintaining which modules will be included for each arch/flavor. If you have changes between kernel major/minor releases you can either commit them and upload, or commit them as UNRELEASED and they will be automatically included in the next mass build. The massbuild script can be used for single-arch builds too. Its main advantage is that kernel images don't need to be installed and the certainty that the correct kernel version will be used. Feel free to contact me to help you get started. Some comments on today's upload: - I have used the last released version of kernel-wedge and will normally do that in the future too - I have not really checked or tested the udebs [2], so there could be some surprises; please be alert for them - m68k: I had to update the dependencies from kernel-image to linux-image The road to RC1 =============== We are slowly moving towards RC1. I plan to post an initial planning later this week. As we get closer to Etch, testing the installer for all arches gets to be more important. Any time you can spend on that is very much appreciated. There are some issues that need attention: * type of initrd used Some arches have already switched to using initramfs for d-i initrds, other arches are still using cramfs or ext2. Please check if a change could/should be made for your architecture. * 2.4 support now officially dropped Starting with RC1 d-i will no longer support 2.4 based installations. All arches have been switched now and some cleanup has been started; more cleanup is expected and this may cause unexpected breakage. * support for non-devfs device names Colin Watson has committed a series of changes to make d-i support non-devfs device names. We will be slowly moving away from using devfs names, but the most intrusive work will be postponed until after Etch. Please check for unexpected breakage though. * partman-auto using LVM and crypto partman-auto-lvm now has been available for some time, but is still not available for all arches. LVM support is a prerequisite for partman-auto-crypto support which will be uploaded soon. Note: swap on LVM should be possible now and is even required for partman-auto-crypto. If you would like to add support for it, please see [3]. Feel free to contact me or David Härdeman (Alphix) for help. * mips: keyboard issues We've had a report about a dead keyboard on installation (#382983). This needs to be investigated. * powerpc: oldworld boot problems with recent kernels If there are other architecture specific issues that we should be aware of, please let me know. Cheers, FJP [1] http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/d-i/people/fjp/massbuild?op=file&rev=0&sc=0 [2] The script does have a number of sanity checks though. It might be due to version skew in kfreeBSD.
Unfortunately, you have to specify version for arch all packages :-(
Try "apt-cache policy kdebase" to get the idea.
Kde can be installed by
apt-get install kdebase="4:3.5.1-1+kbsd" kdebase-data="" 3.5.1-1+kbsd"

See http://wiki.debian.org/Debian_GNU/kFreeBSD_FAQ
"Q. apt-get complains that it can't verify binaries. I installed gnupg but
the errors persist."
You can add into /etc/apt/apt.conf
APT::Get::AllowUnauthenticated "true";

deb http://ftp.gnuab.org/debian unstable main
deb http://ftp.gnuab.org/debian unreleased main

See http://wiki.debian.org/Debian_GNU/kFreeBSD_FAQ
"Q. Can I run Debian GNU/kFreeBSD in a chroot under FreeBSD?"
Mentioned patches can be found on

Without at least 007_clone_signals.diff and 010_ET_DYN.diff system
will be very limited, may be unusable.
